Hi guys!just want to share my '72 1302-S, did'nt go the Germanlook way 'coz it's too expensive for me, especially here in Manila, Philippines were Porsche parts are very expensive, anyway my bug used to be a eurolooker, then it turned JDMlooker(japanese domestic market) 'coz alot of Japanese parts are readily avilable here, I just took advantage of the parts that are readily available here, and really love to do something alittle different and I think I did :) , hope you guys like it, and hope to hear from you, really love your rides, and again very nice site. :thumb:

1302-S JDMlooker, it has a type 1 blue printed engine, 1679cc with modified Weber Progressive carbs, compression ratio is around 9.? and is still good for daily driving, it also has a custom made 4-2-1 stainless headers mated with a 5Zigen Border 304 speed muffler, ignition is taking care by a MSD ignition box, 009 distributor, MSD 8.5mm wires and MSD ignition coil, at the exterior it's all dechromed and color coaded, front wings are shaved and relocated the signal lights at the bumper, decklid receives a 10 2inch holes to add cooling(as you all know, Manila gets really hot on summer and also at night. :D ), my rims are Volk Racing GT-U by: Rays Engineering, 16x7 at front and 16x8 at the rear +35 off-set, wrapped with Dunlop Formula W-1, all this on stock wings, rear glass with deffoger came from Japan with a parking sticker too, as well as the JAF(Japanese Automotive Federation) grill badge, inside resides a pair of Mazda Miata seats, a Nardi suede steering wheel, Razo titanium pedals and EMPI hurst shifter, as of now still looking for some Japanese parts that I can salvage and fit to my bug, I'll just update it ones in a while, thanks and goodday.

Germanbuilder, hi always saved your bugs pics. everytime I saw it on the net, tnx. :)

Benoit, tnx.man, choose this color 'coz it's simple and I know it's a euro color, so I know it's safe to use it on my bug. :)

yeah Ayrton, but I'm hoping to replace the seats this coming december, I'm going for a Bride non-reclining bucket seats at the driver side, and a reclinable Bride racing seats for the passenger side, I'll just wait for the christmas bonus I guess. :thumb:

You've got A/C in the car!? Cool!
Electrical or originally mounted on the engine?

tnx.Benoit, you really have an awesome bug too, love that color.hehe! :)

Manu, it's a conversion, but I seldome use it, b'coz it shorten the engine life, especially the main bearing, I just use the A/C if I have a passenger, but if I'm alone, it's windows down.(feel the heat). :D
